Sterile Processing TechnicianAs a Sterile Processing Technician for STERIS, you'll work behind the scenes of healthcare facilities in a fast-paced environment, impacting patient safety without being patient facing. Working in the Sterile Processing Department, you will support surgical procedures by ensuring medical instruments are clean, sterile, organized, and available for the surgical team.This is an onsite role at a STERIS facility based in Concord, NC, supporting multiple shifts and hours.What You Will Do as a Sterile Processing Technician IReprocess surgical trays post-surgery; ensuring they are decontaminated, cleaned, inspected, sterilized, correctly assembled within a timely manner and ready for the next caseOperate sterile processing washers, sterilizers, ultrasonic and drying cabinetsParticipate in regular on-site trainingThe Experience, Skills, and Abilities NeededHigh School diploma or GED0 - 1 years of transferable or previous Sterile Processing experience preferredCRCST or CBSPD certification (must obtain certification within 12 months of hire and maintain annually)What STERIS OffersSTERIS is a global organization offering full time opportunities to join our growing team.
