Phlebotomist

Job Overview Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, helping healthcare providers, researchers, and patients make informed decisions that advance care. Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at the Patient Service Center located at 6101 North Fresno St Suite 103, Fresno, CA 93710. Location & Schedule Monday – Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm; additional hours and rotating weekends as required. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Valid California State‑issued Phlebotomy License. Preferred Qualifications At least one month of experience as a phlebotomist. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. Pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfort with minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to attend a 2‑week training program in California. Additional Job Standards If the above license is not yet obtained, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the California Department of Health at time of hire may satisfy the requirement. Travel to additional sites when needed. Compensation & Incentives Pay Range: $21.00 – $33.00 per hour. All offers are based on a candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program: PSTs may be eligible to participate in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are eligible only for the 401(k) Plan.
