As a Barista, you'll play a key role in delivering warm hospitality, quality food and beverage service, and memorable moments for our guests.

What You'll Do:

• Welcome guests with genuine warmth and provide prompt, courteous service that consistently exceeds expectations
• Prepare café menu items accurately and efficiently, following established recipes and procedures
• Support breakfast room service orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
• Accurately process all sales and settlements using the cash register system
• Reconcile sales and payments in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Monitor food freshness and product quality to meet or exceed service standards
• Maintain strong knowledge of café policies and procedures and clearly communicate them to guests when needed
• Uphold café rules and safety standards, including proper handling of guest concerns, age restrictions, and incident response
• Assist with answering phones and taking messages as necessary
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance across the register area and café space

Skills/Requirements

Required:

• Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of application
• Availability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 15 pounds or more

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper equipment use
• Previous food service experience, including an understanding of inventory

Additional Requirement:

• Associates 18 years of age or older may be required to obtain and maintain a valid bartending license as a condition of continued employment

The hourly range for this position is $14.00 - 19.50 per hour including tips/gratuity. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
