Job Description

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create personalized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, well-rounded care.
• Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate patients and caregivers on therapy strategies to ensure sustained progress at home.
• Document and Evaluate Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans accordingly, to keep patients on track.

Education Requirements

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from a respected institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education or advanced certifications

Required Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
