With multiple locations throughout the greater Jacksonville area and more than 27 providers, we deliver compassionate, patient-centered care across the full spectrum of urology, from minimally invasive procedures to complex surgery and oncology.We are seeking a dependable, organized, and patient-focused New Patient Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate provides exceptional customer service, demonstrates strong attention to detail, effectively manages a high volume of referrals and scheduling needs, and works collaboratively with patients, providers, and staff to ensure a seamless experience from referral to appointment.Essential Job Functions:Answer a high volume of incoming calls and coordinate patient appointmentsProcess new patient referrals by accurately entering demographics, diagnoses, authorizations, and other required informationSchedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments based on provider and patient needsGreet patients and assist with scheduling and registration needsCollect and verify patient demographic and insurance informationContact patients when appointments need to be rescheduled or additional information is requiredAnswer patient questions and provide accurate information regarding appointments and office proceduresDirect calls to the appropriate departments and relay messages to staff as neededMaintain accurate and timely patient recordsProtect patient privacy and maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirementsProvide professional, courteous, and compassionate service to patients, providers, and staffRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)Medical Office: 1+ year (Required)Customer Service: 1+ year (Required)Computer Skills: 3+ years (Preferred)
