Satellite Assembly Technician

Location: Woodinville, WA

Pay: $22-$30/hour

• 1st Shift: 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM, Monday-Friday

About the Role

We are seeking Satellite Assembly Technicians to support the assembly and testing of advanced satellite systems. In this role, you will build mechanical subassemblies and final assemblies, perform product testing, and work from detailed work instructions to ensure quality and reliability. Responsibilities

• Assemble satellite subassemblies and final products according to engineering specifications and work instructions
• Perform testing and inspections on completed assemblies
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches to complete assembly tasks
• Follow written procedures, blueprints, specifications, and test instructions
• Troubleshoot basic assembly issues and identify installation errors
• Maintain quality standards in a fast-paced production environment
• Support general manufacturing activities including assembly, machine operation, and material handling
• Ensure all work is completed safely and meets company quality requirements
• Work overtime as needed to support production schedules

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of mechanical, assembly, manufacturing, or production experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
• Comfortable working with torque wrenches and precision tools
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and technical documentation
• High school diploma or GED
• Proven work history demonstrating reliability and dependability
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
• Willingness to work overtime, including 10-30 additional hours per week when required

Preferred Experience

• Aerospace or aviation manufacturing
• Automotive repair, maintenance, or oil change experience
• Machine operation
• Soldering or electronics assembly
• Blueprint reading
• Structural assembly or fabrication
• Production line manufacturing
• Avionics or propulsion systems experience

Work Environment

This position is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on satellite assembly and testing. Employees regularly work with hand tools, power tools, torque equipment, and mechanical assemblies while following detailed procedures and quality standards. Overtime is frequently available and may be required to support production demands.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodinville, WA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
