Stemmons Fwy, Farmers Branch, TX 75234Schedule: This role oversees our Inventory Control operations at our Farmers Branch, TX fulfillment center. While this position generally follows a schedule, operational demands during peak and seasonal periods may require leaders to work additional hours beyond their regular schedule. Leaders are expected to maintain a flexible schedule and adjust their working hours as needed to support the business and their teams.Salary: $78,600 – $98,250 per yearResponsibilities:Oversee all processes and procedures for Inventory Control operationsIdentify and develop key performance standards and metrics to drive desired culture and ensure their achievementEvaluate inefficiencies and propose strategies to increase throughput while reducing labor costsOversee inventory audits to ensure alignment with quarterly targetsDevelop and standardize processes to improve inventory accuracy and minimize inventory shrinkageEstablish inventory optimization techniques while implementing processes for obsolete inventoryDevelop processes to incorporate inventory consolidation and replenishment functions to optimize locations and increase warehouse capacityIdentify and propose process improvement initiatives to company leadership for FC standardization and executionDeliver performance reviews and conduct monthly check-ins with each member of the inventory control leadership team to build rapport and provide feedbackAddress performance-related incidents and recommend a course of action on disciplinary and personnel issuesTrain and develop Team Leads and associates through coaching, mentoring, and effective communication to build a strong culture of employee engagementAttend and participate in HR Leadership meetings twice a monthCreate and promote a safe working environment, fostering a safety culture where employees feel safe and comfortable in their areas of responsibilityRequirements:High school diploma or GED equivalentA minimum of 2 years of Inventory Management experienceExperience managing exempt employeesUnderstanding of distribution flow, integration, and automationStrong critical thinking skills with the ability to see the "big picture" and identify/forecast developing issuesContinuous improvement experienceExceptional verbal and written communication skills, including public presentation, and interpersonal skillsStrong computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to work independently, multitask, and follow process and standard proceduresAbility to push and pull objects up to 60 pounds of force independentlyAbility to stand and walk for up to 8-10 hours and up to 20,000 steps per dayPreferred Qualifications:A minimum of 2 years of experience working with automated systems (RF technology, WMS, conveyor, and sortation)A minimum of 1 year of Lean experience in a manufacturing or logistics environmentExperience with performance metrics and process improvementStrong financial and data acumen, with the ability to analyze and use data to drive resultsExperience analyzing inventory problems, collaborating across departments, and resolving issuesBilingual English/Spanish proficiency, with strong verbal and written communication skills in SpanishWhy work with us:We have awesome benefits – We offer a wide variety of benefits to help support you and your loved ones.
