Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Seasonal Kennel Assistant to join our team at CareVet of Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will assist with daily kennel operations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all animals in our care.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize animal cages and kennel areas regularly.
- Perform laundry duties including washing and folding bedding and towels.
- Scan and maintain accurate animal charts and records.
- Assist with mild restraining of animals during routine care and handling.
- Support kennel staff with general tasks as needed to maintain smooth operations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with laundry and cleaning duties.
- Ability to clean and maintain cages thoroughly.
- Familiarity with scanning and managing charts or records.
- Comfortable with mild animal restraining techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Compassion for animals and a team-oriented attitude.
