About the Role
- The State of Wisconsin is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Messaging Queues, Caching, and Angular.
- The ideal candidate will develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications seamlessly integrating Java-based backend systems with Angular-based frontends.
- This role requires a proactive problem solver who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based backend applications, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Develop and maintain Angular-based front-end user interfaces with a focus on responsiveness, usability, and ADA/WCAG compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and implement requirements.
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system reliability and robustness.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot), Hibernate/JPA, Message queuing, and caching.
- Advanced skills in Angular (Angular 2+ required), Typescript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- 5+ years working with Java and Spring Framework/Spring Boot.
- 5+ years in web applications development, web services, REST API, etc.
- 3+ years in Messaging Queues and Caching and related tools like Kafka and Redis.
- 2+ years of work in Angular.
- 5+ years working in Relational databases like Oracle.
