Material Handler

Guidepost Staffing is recruiting for a Direct Hire Material Handler position with a stable and growing wire manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with forklift experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and want long-term career growth.

• $19.00/hr to start
• Increase to $20.00/hr after successful completion of training

Schedule

• Monday–Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM after training
• Training 11 AM to 7:30 PM 

What You'll Do

• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks
• Supply production lines with wire and production materials
• Move, store, and organize wire reels using FIFO inventory practices
• Perform visual quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials
• Complete inventory transactions and production data entry
• Conduct daily forklift safety inspections
• Maintain organized material storage areas
• Support production teams pmto keep operations running efficiently

What You Bring

• Material handling, warehouse, forklift , or manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude
• Team-oriented mindset

Employment Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical
• Must be able to pass a drug screen ( no marijuana testing )
