Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing industrial manufacturing organization to identify a skilled Maintenance Technician to support plant operations and equipment reliability. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems across the facility.

Pay : $30-$35/hour
Schedule : Southern swing shift (12-hour rotating days and nights)

Schedule Details:
This position follows a 12-hour rotating schedule, alternating between day and night shifts, providing approximately 15 days off per month.
Example rotation includes:

• Several consecutive day shifts (D) followed by days off
• Several consecutive night shifts (N) followed by days off
• Built-in extended time off between rotations

This schedule is ideal for candidates who prefer longer shifts with more days off each month.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including PLC-controlled equipment
• Perform preventive (PM) and predictive (PdM) maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive equipment reliability
• Lead maintenance efforts during machine setup, troubleshooting, and repair activities
• Train operators on basic maintenance practices to support autonomous maintenance programs
• Follow all safety protocols including LOTO, confined space, arc flash, and SDS procedures
• Utilize CMMS to track work orders, maintenance history, and parts usage
• Monitor spare parts inventory and communicate equipment needs or risks
• Maintain clean and organized work areas aligned with 5S standards
• Escalate complex technical issues to maintenance leadership as needed

Technical Requirements

• Experience troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Electrical troubleshooting (120V-480V, single and three-phase)
• Experience with VFDs, motors, and control systems
• PLC troubleshooting (Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley preferred)
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals
• Welding experience (MIG/TIG preferred)
• Familiarity with CMMS systems

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Industrial Systems, Mechatronics, or related field with 3+ years of experience
• High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Comfortable working a rotating day/night schedule

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
