Immediate opportunity: We have an ongoing project in northern Mississippi, expected to run 5–6 weeks. The Material Coordinator on this project will manage receiving, staging, and issuing of materials at the job site or laydown area. This position will interface with the IOS Fabrication yard to keep the client updated with material flow. The expected schedule is 7 days a week at 12 hours a day. Candidates must be willing to travel and work extended shifts for the duration of the project. After the project, the role returns to our Houma–Thibodaux operations.

Qualifications

• Strong inventory control and inventory management skills to track materials, maintain stock accuracy, and support project scheduling.
• Materials management and material handling skills for safe, efficient storage, movement, and allocation of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Solid communication skills for working with technicians, superintendents, project managers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Knowledge of warehouse and laydown yard operations, shipping and receiving, and basic logistics best practices.
• Experience with inventory or ERP software and standard office applications is preferred.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
• Willingness to travel and to work extended schedules (12-hour shifts, 7 days a week) on project assignments.
• Prior experience in general construction, industrial, offshore, or specialty mechanical services environments is an advantage.
• High school diploma or equivalent required. xhyhwjd Technical or vocational training in logistics, materials management, or a related field is a plus.
