Job Description

Pharmacy Technician (Production / Fulfillment)

Location: West Sacramento, CA 95605 (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday-Friday. Initial schedule: Mon/Wed 2:00 PM-10:30 PM; Tue/Thu/Fri 1:30 PM-10:00 PM. Schedule may change after ~4 weeks based on business needs.
Pay: $26.00/hr

Now hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a high-volume pharmacy fulfillment environment. This Pharmacy Technician role supports accurate dispensing workflows including filling, replenishment, packaging, and quality checks. Ideal for a Pharmacy Technician who works quickly without sacrificing accuracy, follows SOPs, and thrives in a production/warehouse-style pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

Fill prescription vials accurately (counting/calculations, strength verification)
Replenish automated dispensing cells; scan and record lot/expiration data
Perform quality checks to prevent errors and cross-contamination
Support cold chain/specialty handling and packing requirements
Assist with packing/shipping and maintaining workflow productivity targets
Follow HIPAA, safety procedures, and pharmacy compliance standards
Escalate issues appropriately and document actions taken

Qualifications

Active California Pharmacy Technician license (required)
1+ year pharmacy technician experience (not externship-only)
High attention to detail; comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing/walking
Basic math skills and ability to work at speed with accuracy
Reliable attendance and ability to work changing schedules as needed
