What you’ll bring:

• Valid licensure as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with students with mild learning disabilities
• Familiarity with delivering both push-in and pull-out interventions
• Skill in completing Teacher of Record responsibilities
• Expertise in writing and implementing IEPs
• Proficiency in progress monitoring and student data documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
• Ability to support students in 5th and 6th grade settings

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering direct instructional support within classrooms (push-in) and in targeted, small group or individual settings (pull-out)
• Taking full responsibility as Teacher of Record for assigned students, ensuring compliance and advocacy
• Creating, managing, and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Monitoring student progress, collecting data, and communicating outcomes to stakeholders
• Collaborating with general education teachers and special education staff to develop and adapt strategies that benefit learners
• Assisting with transitions and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere for all students
• Participating in professional development and team meetings as needed
