Support Worker, (Orchard)

About the Role We’re looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our team, supporting adults with complex needs in a residential setting. You’ll work as part of a supportive team delivering person-centred care and building positive, trusting relationships with the people you support. This is more than a care role. It’s an opportunity to help individuals live meaningful, fulfilling lives in an environment that values dignity, choice and independence. Responsibilities Your role will be varied and active. You’ll: Support people with their personal routines including personal care and meal preparation Encourage independence through life skills like budgeting, shopping and social outings Help people enjoy hobbies and interests: swimming, music, arts and outdoor activities Accompany residents to health appointments and trips out Work closely with our Physical Activity Practitioner, including in the hydrotherapy pool Contribute to household tasks and maintain a welcoming home environment Use a range of communication methods (Makaton, objects of reference, expressions) Drive the home vehicle for activities and appointments (only, if you’re a driver) #J-18808-Ljbffr NORWOOD
