Speech-Language Pathologist Schedule: 1.0 FTE, exact shift details depending on scheduling needs. Pediatric clinic is open 8 am to 6 pm M-F.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP license required by the State of Alaska.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Experience with pediatrics and outpatient services required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, evaluation, and treatment planning for patients requiring Speech-Language Pathology services.
• Implement and modify therapy plans based on patient response to optimize outcomes.
• Document patient encounters, including diagnoses, treatment plans, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and self-care strategies.
• Assist in program development and quality improvement initiatives.
