Mechanical Designer

Job Summary Our client, a leading manufacturing company near Auburn, Alabama needs to hire a mechanical designer! If you have CAD design expertise, ideally with PTC Creo AND experience using Windchill to transform design concepts into high-precision 3D models and production-ready drawings. This direct-hire job opportunity can sit in Auburn, AL or Duluth, GA. Moving assistance is available for qualified applicants! location: Auburn, Alabama job type: Permanent salary: $75,000 - 95,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Associates Responsibilities Develop and modify complex 3D solid models and 2D mechanical drawings for products and components. Transform sketches, design concepts, and verbal instructions into detailed engineering specifications. Create and manage comprehensive documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical data packages. Responsible for creation and documentation of 3D CAD models and related drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs) and other engineering documentation Coordinate drawing documentation in preparation for formal production releases Required Qualifications Associate degree (Ideally in drafting & design) 4+ years of relevant design experience Experience creating 2D or 3D mechanical models 3D CAD experience (PTC CREO, Solidworks or related software) Experience with PLM software (Windchill preferred) Qualifications Experience level: Experienced Minimum 4 years of experience Education: Associates (required) Skills Mechanical Design Mechanical Engineering Mechanical Mechanical Drafting Electro-mechanical Solidworks Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
