Opportunity:

RN - Supervisor

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with availability for both day (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) and night (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) shifts
• Weekend rotation every other weekend required
• Holiday expectations include every other major holiday
• No on-call responsibilities
• 6-week schedule cycle
• Minimum of 2 years of RN Medical/Surgical experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Average patient ratio of up to 6 patients per nurse
• Care for all Medical/Surgical patient types
• Required skills include tracheostomy care, chest tubes, reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips, Lasix drips, insulin drips, heparin drips, and wound VACs
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Alaris IV pump and Pyxis medication dispensing system experience required
• Floating to any Medical/Surgical unit as assigned by House Supervisor
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• ACLS preferred
• Scrub color: any solid color, no logos
• Free parking available

Facility:

This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility with 277 hospital beds, operating as a Level IV Trauma Center and a Level III NICU. Designated as a Primary Stroke Center, the facility offers a full range of Medical/Surgical services supported by a robust team including CNAs, Techs, HUCs, RNs, a Rapid Response Team, Phlebotomy, Charge Nurses, and central telemetry monitoring with a telemetry technician.
