Position Summary

Provides QA leadership and expertise on Avum's government programs. Leads test strategy development, mentors QA staff, drives test automation frameworks, and serves as functional expert for quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans
• Architect and maintain automated test frameworks (Playwright, TypeScript, Selenium)
• Mentor junior QA specialists on processes, standards, and best practices
• Lead user story paving and quality process improvement initiatives
• Perform code reviews on automation team members' code
• Collaborate with development, functional, and government teams on quality
• Provide functional expertise and leadership to government stakeholders on quality compliance

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $110,000 – $155,000 annually, with a target midpoint of $130,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and geographic location. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of QA experience with 3+ in senior/lead roles
• Strong test automation skills (Playwright, Selenium, or similar)
• Active Secret clearance
• U.S. citizenship required
• Experience with JIRA, test management tools, and CI/CD integration

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB Advanced or Expert certification
• Programming skills (TypeScript, Python, Java)
• Experience with government procurement/acquisition systems
• Section 508/accessibility testing experience
