Step into a meaningful contract opportunity working near San Jose, CA, supporting high-needs students for the remainder of the 25/26 school year! Two Registered Behavior Technicians are needed to provide intensive individual support and make a difference in students' educational journeys. This full-time position offers a weekday schedule, supporting students and school staff between now and June 12, 2026, with the possibility of continuing into the following academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Demonstrated experience working with students demonstrating significant externalizing behaviors
- Background providing individualized behavioral support in educational settings
- Capacity for patience, adaptability, and strong communication with students and team members
- Comfort working with students on a part-day basis and supporting a wider classroom or school environment as needed
- Delivering direct, intensive support to high-needs students during their part-day attendance (2-3 hours daily)
- Collaborating closely with teachers, support staff, and school leadership to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans
- Assisting with classroom management and supporting broader school settings during the remainder of the workday
- Accurately collecting data, documenting student progress, and reporting to therapy and educational teams
- Adapting strategies and support techniques based on students' unique needs
- Maintaining a positive, supportive approach to foster student growth and engagement
