To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.The Test Engineering Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Lunar Core Components Test Equipment. Disciplines include electrical test equipment design (Electrical Ground Support Equipment - EGSE), avionics, and RF systems test. This role leads a consolidated EGSE team supporting all of Lunar, with a focus on the design, build, and commissioning of EGSE rack equipment. The selected candidate will integrate, coordinate, and triage engineering support across integrated product teams and test engineers.The Manager will lead their employees' professional development (e.g., performance evaluations, compensation and promotion management, and routine one-on-one development conversations) and coach them on career development. The successful candidate will work independently to develop solutions and perform as a lead test engineer executing test procedures, ensuring all steps and processes are followed, be accountable to the safety of the hardware and people involved in the test. This position nominally has about 25% travel with infrequent select periods up to 50% to support testing at remote sites .You will play a key role in developing the Lunar Permanence system that will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight.
