Start your journey with OBE and help us build the future.What You'll Get to DoThe Quality Manager oversees our quality program, ensuring that product, manufacturing testing, & reporting meet external industry & safety standards.ResponsibilitiesMaintain quality reports across departmentsDrive external quality improvement initiativesParticipate in meetings for the development & implementation of RPN activitiesPlay a key role in the Credit & Replacement (C&R) process, maintain product testing compliance (IGCC), & support resolution of external customer concernsParticipate in layered audits for process verification, gauge verification, error-proofing, & related activitiesServe as a liaison for external customer issues, working toward resolution of quality concerns to minimize liabilityServe as a liaison between glass associations & third-party certification programsInvestigate significant quality matters (high dollar value, complex or multi-supplier issues) toward customer resolutionContribute to specialty projects aligned with corporate initiativesUnderstand customer expectations & needs, outline quality standards, & develop quality control processesImplement methods to inspect, test, & evaluate products & production equipmentEnsure products meet quality standardsPrepare reports by collecting, analyzing, & summarizing dataTrain & coach production team members in production practices & quality assessmentTrack products through the manufacturing process to verify accuracy at every stagePerform final product inspections to confirm alignment with industry, company, & customer standardsTroubleshoot & problem-solve product quality issuesSupport the implementation & sustainability of the Quality Management System within our Operational Excellence (OpEx) frameworkWhat We Are Looking ForWe know confidence gaps and imposter syndrome can hold great candidates back, if you meet most, but not all, of the qualifications below, we still want to hear from you.Minimum of 3 years experience in quality management or continuous improvementComfort working with Windows-based softwareStrong verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with people at all levels of the organization & with external contactsAbility to stay focused under pressure, meet deadlines, & manage multiple priorities with flexibilityCQE certification is a plus, not a requirementPosition Pay Range$75,000 - $95,000 USDWhat OBE Offers YouBenefits that benefit you – industry competitive benefits at the lowest cost to the employeeWork-life balance – PTO and holidays, including floating holidays you can chooseCompensation that rewards your hard work – A pay-for-performance culture with potential for annual raises and bonusesTraining – We will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed
