Material Handler / Warehouse Associate – 2nd ShiftShift: 2nd Shift – 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday Pay Rate: $20.90–$22.00/hour Requirement: Steel-toed boots are required on the first day. 6+ month contractPosition SummaryUnder direct supervision, the Material Handler is responsible for daily distribution activities, including loading, unloading, moving, transferring, and processing materials to support in-plant logistics.This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and accurate completion of inventory transactions. Responsibilities include supporting the receipt, delivery, storage, and shipment of goods while following cGMP requirements and established inventory management practices.Essential ResponsibilitiesPerform manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering materials, equipment, and supplies.Perform physical inventory counts.Transport materials between departments, facilities, and production areas.Accurately and promptly process inventory and material movements in accordance with inventory control procedures.Select and process materials for work orders.Accurately count, stage, and store materials and supplies.Operate material-handling equipment, including:Sit-down forkliftsStand-up forkliftsSide-loader forkliftsPallet jacksOther warehouse/material-handling equipmentOperate equipment in narrow aisles and cold-storage areas as required.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP guidelines.Follow all safety training, procedures, and instructions.Maintain appropriate knowledge of material-handling and safety requirements.Participate in training other employees as needed.Perform all duties in compliance with established company policies and procedures.Team & CommunicationInteract professionally with warehouse staff at all levels.Communicate effectively with team leaders and supervisors.Work successfully in a team-based environment.Participate in team meetings, reviews, huddles, and metric reviews.Support overall team and departmental goals.Work EnvironmentThis position works in manufacturing, laboratory, and warehouse environments.
