Checkout Team Associate

Front End Checkout associates run our registers. They smile, greet and thank customers, ring up items, process payments, and keep a positive attitude. What you’ll do You play a major role in how our customers feel when they leave the store. You might be the first, last, and sometimes only associate a customer interacts with. That’s why it’s important to smile, greet, and thank every customer. You are an ambassador of Walmart. The pace can be intense, especially in the evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons. You may need to juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping customers: scanning items, explaining a price, bagging items properly, counting cash back, and keeping your area clean. It takes a positive, multi‑tasking individual with a passion for customer service and helping others.
