Responsibilities
- Deliver daily engineering support to production and manufacturing operations
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, workflows, and procedures
- Author and maintain critical manufacturing documentation including work instructions, routings, and process plans
- Troubleshoot and resolve production and process issues in partnership with operators and technicians
- Conduct root-cause analysis and corrective action to address recurring quality and process challenges
- Identify and drive opportunities for productivity, quality, cost, safety, and efficiency improvements
- Support tooling, fixture, and equipment design, development, and process enhancements
- Review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with production requirements
- Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to investigate and resolve nonconformance and process deviations
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze production data to drive informed decisions on process improvements
- Support new product and process introductions on the manufacturing floor



Required Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years of hands-on Manufacturing Engineering or related experience
- Proven track record in supporting production operations and process improvement
- Strong troubleshooting and structured problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation
- Effective written and verbal communication skills



Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or similar STEM discipline
- Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or regulated manufacturing
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, or continuous improvement
- Experience with RCCA tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, or process mapping
- Familiarity with SAP or equivalent ERP/MRP systems
- Understanding of manufacturing tooling, documentation, routings, BOMs, and configuration control
