The Mercedes-Benz Van Center of Vancouver opens September 1, 2026 -- a purpose-built commercial van facility, and a ground-floor leadership opportunity for the right Sales Manager to build something from day one. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the full Sprinter van sales operation -- managing the sales team, owning the client relationship pipeline, and driving consistent volume and gross profit performance Build and develop a high-performing commercial van sales team from the ground up -- recruiting, training, and holding the team accountable to clear standards and metrics Establish and manage long‑term fleet and commercial client accounts -- serving contractors, logistics operators, medical transport providers, trade service companies, and fleet buyers across the Pacific Northwest Own the sales process end‑to‑end -- from first contact and vehicle demonstration through deal structure, delivery, and post‑sale follow‑up Partner with service, parts, and finance to deliver a seamless client experience across every touchpoint of the operation Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share in the Vancouver and greater Portland metro commercial vehicle market Manage CRM with discipline -- maintaining accurate pipeline records, follow‑up commitments, and account activity for every client Serve as the face of the Mercedes-Benz Van Center of Vancouver in the local commercial community -- building the store's reputation through professional presence, networking, and consistent delivery on commitments QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of automotive sales management experience -- commercial vehicle, fleet, or Sprinter experience strongly preferred Proven track record of leading a sales team to consistent performance -- volume, gross, and client retention B2B or fleet account management experience a significant plus -- you understand how commercial buyers think and what they need A builder's mindset -- you're energized by the opportunity to establish a culture and a process from day one, not inherit one Strong CRM discipline and the ability to build a culture of pipeline accountability and follow‑through on the floor Tenacious prospector and relationship builder -- you grow accounts through consistency, knowledge, and genuine investment in the client's business Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience preferred High integrity with a servant‑leader mindset -- you lead by example and earn trust through consistency Valid driver's license with a clean driving record WHAT WE OFFER $72,000 - $150,000+/yr -- commission-based with a guaranteed base to start, giving you time to build the business Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Pet insurance and optional disability coverage 401(k) plan Paid time off and paid holidays Paid Mercedes-Benz Sprinter product and commercial van training Career growth -- strong sales managers at Swickard grow into GSM, fleet director, and multi-store commercial leadership roles Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts The opportunity to lead a first‑of‑its‑kind dedicated commercial van operation within the fastest‑growing Sprinter dealer group in the country WHY MERCEDES-BENZ VAN CENTER OF VANCOUVER Swickard is the #1 Sprinter dealer group in the country by volume -- the infrastructure, brand relationships, and operational support behind this new location are proven Vancouver and the greater Portland metro market represent one of the strongest commercial vehicle opportunities in the Pacific Northwest A purpose‑built facility dedicated entirely to Sprinter van sales and service -- not a department within a dealership Ground‑floor leadership on a new store means you help define the culture, the process, and the standard Swickard is one of the fastest‑growing dealer groups in the country -- ranked Top 5 in North America for reputation in the automotive industry Our HEART values -- Honor, Engage, Anticipate, Respond, Thank -- shape how we hire, how we lead, and how we serve every client Swickard has built the volume, the ranking, and the operational infrastructure to dominate the Sprinter market.
