Site Superintendent

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a thorough understanding of construction management practices. Duties Track monthly work in progress to complete pay expectations in a timely manner. Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Coordinate and schedule project activities, including subcontractor work, material deliveries, and inspections. Utilize construction management software to track project progress and maintain accurate documentation. Develop and manage project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project to ensure timely completion of milestones. Collaborate with project managers and estimators to review schematics and plans for accuracy and feasibility. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and adherence to design specifications. Address any issues or delays promptly to minimize the impact on project timelines. Foster a positive working environment by leading by example and promoting teamwork among site personnel. Review and approve/correct time cards to ensure time and quantities are tracked. Requirements Proven experience in construction management or as a Site Superintendent in Civil Construction. Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices. Familiarity with construction management software such as Heavy Jobs and Heavy Bid for project tracking and documentation. Proficient in project scheduling tools like Microsoft Project to effectively manage timelines. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills to liaise with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
