Commercial Senior Collateral Specialist

: Overview: HarborOne Bank is looking for a Commercial Sr. Collateral Specialist. This role is responsible for monitoring and releasing collateral on the Commercial portfolio in compliance with federal and state regulations. The position is also responsible for monitoring and communicating on all insurance requirements in the portfolio. • Actively monitor loan collateral to insure adequate levels of collateral are securing each loan in the commercial portfolio according to policy.
• Responsible for tracking/renewing/releasing UCCs
• Analyze, prepare and coordinate with attorneys on discharge of Commercial Real Estate
• Monitor and work insurance reports weekly to confirm sufficient coverage is obtain for all properties.
• Monitor and work document request reports for flood content coverage and other insurance requirements
• Monitor, preform and report on annual flood reviews to be in compliance with federal regulations
• Perform and document monthly Operational Risk testing to ensure servicing processes are completed
• Analyze loan critical and loan maintenance reports to verify all changes are accurate, logical and within the employee's realm of authority to mitigate risk and fraud

Qualifications: REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

• Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or accounting is preferred.
• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in commercial loan servicing and/or banking experience. Experience with CORE systems, experience with Insight / COCC is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Excel is required to include data management skills. An intermediate understanding of Microsoft Word. A minimum of (1) three years' experience processing loan monetary transactions and data maintenance on Insight (or comparable loan servicing platform) is required.
• Excellent organization skills. Ability to prioritize work and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines. Demonstrated attention to detail skills. Can monitor own work to ensure quality, accuracy and thoroughness.
