Big Smiles Missouri , a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Dental Assistant/Expanded Fuctions Dental Assistant Team Lead in St. Louis, MO and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their school, working full-time. Our innovative in school dental program offers something different than a traditional dental practice. With a workday that ends with the school day and no nights or weekends, our program is perfect for people looking for a diverse and different working environment, working parents and anyone who wants to make a difference in the dental field. Dental Assistant Qualifications: X-ray License Digital X-ray Imaging experience Coronal Polishing (preferred, not required) CPR certified Work experience as a Dental Assistant Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and willing to travel Works well with children Organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task Team player and able to work on a small team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Dental Assistant Responsibilities: Dental Assisting Services during mobile dental clinics Digital X-ray Imaging Patient Records Charting Equipment Set-up, Breakdown, and Sterilization Assistance Travel Daily to and from school sites Team Lead Requirements/Responsibilities: Responsible for driving company vehicleMust be at least 21 years oldMust be willing to travel dailyAbility to meet deadlines and arrive on-time each dayReliable, organized, punctualComputer skills – Microsoft office applicationsGreat people skills - ability to communicate with Adults & ChildrenMust have valid drivers license, clean driving recordOrder supplies, sterilizing instruments, spore testingResponsible for back office dutiesKeep van & equipment in good condition Missouri Big Smiles Offers: Evenings, weekends and summers off!
