Information Systems Specialist

To serve as the Information Systems Specialist for C&I/Technology integration on the Instructional Technology team.

Serve as a key liaison between instructional technology, AI support, Learning Specialists, teachers, curriculum staff, and campus administration. Translate instructional, operational, and administrative needs into clear technology requirements, AI-supported workflows, and practical system improvements. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure solutions are aligned with instructional goals, campus priorities, and the needs of staff and students.

Identify areas of need, workflow challenges, and opportunities for improvement within instructional and administrative processes, and recommend innovative technology and AI-supported solutions to address them. Support the development of streamlined processes, automations, templates, tools, and resources that improve accuracy, reduce manual workload, enhance consistency, and strengthen support for teaching, learning, and campus operations.

Support the implementation, testing, and adoption of instructional technology platforms, AI tools, course systems, assessment systems, and digital learning resources. Collaborate with teachers, Learning Specialists, curriculum staff, and administrators to ensure tools are user-friendly, instructionally sound, and effectively integrated into daily workflows. Help evaluate system functionality, gather user feedback, and recommend adjustments that improve usability and impact.

Develop clear training materials, user guides, workflow documentation, and staff support resources that bridge the gap between technology systems and instructional practice. Provide support and guidance to staff as they adopt new tools and processes. Monitor recurring issues, collect feedback from end users, and recommend continuous improvements that enhance efficiency, accessibility, consistency, and the overall experience for teachers, staff, students, and families.

Satisfactory outcomes of fingerprinting and criminal background check required. Typical office environment. Use of manual dexterity. Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation. Lifting and moving (up to 40 lbs.). Climbing of stairs. Work performed on concurrent multiple projects under pressure of rigid deadlines and/or time limitations. May require occasional extended work hours. Position may require occasional work outside the normal work week.
