Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D), Nights — Roswell, New Mexico. This travel, temporary assignment begins on 09/28/2026 and runs for a number of weeks. You’ll work 3x12 night shifts with weekly pay ranging from $1,984 to $2,057. The assignment takes place in a hospital setting on a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit that uses a couplet care model, caring for neonates and laboring/postpartum mothers.

Responsibilities
- Deliver labor and delivery care, including vaginal deliveries and assist with cesarean sections
- Perform triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring of obstetric patients
- Provide couplet care with mother/newborn rooming-in, newborn assessment, thermoregulation, and lactation support
- Support postpartum and C-section recovery, including vitals, pain management, and patient education
- Conduct newborn safety tasks (identification, monitoring, breastfeeding support) and coordinate with the care team
- Document care in the Epic EMR and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff

Requirements
- Licensure: Active NM or Compact RN license accepted; license must be obtained prior to start
- Certifications: BLS and NRP required; STABLE listed
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of L&D experience; charge experience preferred
- Skills: Proficient in labor/delivery care, couplet care, newborn assessment, and postpartum recovery; able to float to like units within scope as needed
- Education: RN education appropriate for licensure; Epic EMR experience required
- Other: Travel assignment with 50-mile local radius restriction; local applicants not accepted
