Marketing Science Associate Director

Associate Director delivering commercial insights to inform strategic decisions for hemoglobinopathies and related therapeutic areas at a global biotechnology firm. Role combines market research design, data analytics oversight, and cross-functional partnership to address business questions and support brand planning.
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide objective commercial insights and strategic perspective
- Design and execute comprehensive insights generation plans using appropriate research methodologies
- Independently manage primary market research projects addressing key business questions
- Define and oversee data analytics execution to support ongoing business inquiries
- Develop situation analyses for brand planning and maintain disease area insights documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
- 8+ years in biopharma marketing, market research, analytics, or management consulting
- Expertise in primary market research methodologies and independent project execution
- Strong quantitative analysis skills and experience with advanced analytics
- Knowledge of real-world data sources including insurance claims and EHR data
- Experience in rare disease and cell & gene therapy environments
- Exceptional written and verbal communication with ability to synthesize complex information
Compensation: $157,800–$236,600 base
