Job Description The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking an Engineering Assistant to join the Naval Reactors Facility's (NRF) Operations team! This exciting opportunity will be providing administrative and customer service in the Document Control Center. Duties may include the following: Update and maintain the Work Document and Deficiency databases. Provide administrative support for work documents and deficiency reports. Provide administrative services such as filing, updating, routing, scanning, and archiving completed work documents and deficiency reports. Generate, maintain, and support work documents used by Operations personnel. Administrative support to the Engineering Resource Center, as requested. Deliver work documents to personnel in other buildings, as needed Required Combination Of Knowledge And Skill High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Skills General knowledge of computers and Microsoft Windows. Customer service oriented. High level of attention to detail. Good administrative skills. Proficient typing/keyboard skills. Able to properly handle Classified documents. Able to work shift work. Able to work well with team members in a small open office workspace. Pay Range $21.49 hourly Jobs categorized as subject to a collective bargaining agreement will adhere to the pay rates, wage increases, progression schedules, and other parameters identified and negotiated in said agreements.
