Production Team Lead
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Production Team Lead to join their team. As a Production Team Lead, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing operations supporting the production process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Fort Mill SC
Pay Range: 22.50 per hour
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:00 pm to 2:00 am
What's the Job?
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, performance, and quality standards are met
- Coordinate and schedule production activities to support customer demand efficiently
- Direct, coach, and train team members to optimize productivity and maintain high safety standards
- Operate forklifts, power pallet jacks, and manual carts to move materials safely and efficiently
- Conduct first piece inspections and ensure finished products meet quality specifications
What's Needed?
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, with knowledge of forklift operation and measurement reading
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and specifications
- Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals, for measurement and quality checks
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and leadership
- Ability to work physically on the manufacturing floor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
