Make an impact in the lives of students by providing crucial occupational therapy services across multiple schools in a vibrant educational community. This contract opportunity offers hands-on experience and the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and student support teams. Work on-site, helping students of varying ages develop the skills they need for educational and personal success. With a clear and structured school calendar, your expertise will be valued and your contributions meaningful.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and active Occupational Therapist license for Missouri
- Experience delivering school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school locations within the district
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Capacity to complete time-sensitive credentialing, such as fingerprinting and technology agreement forms
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students at three school sites within the district
- Collaborate with IEP teams and school staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct assessments to determine needs and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Support students in reaching their fullest potential through evidence-based interventions
What You’ll Experience:
- Structured full-time work schedule (37.5 hours/week) from now through late May
