Special Education Teacher - Contract Location: Sunnyvale, CA Required Qualifications: A minimum qualification of a Bachelor's degree with a certified L1 teaching credential qualified for autism special education. Preference for a Master's in special education with an L2 credential in moderate-severe special education. Competency in English writing and verbal communication. Experience with preliminary credential internships would be highly considered. Job Description Participating in the planning of instruction and designing learning experiences for special education students. Organize and understand subject matter for student learning. Create and maintain effective environments for student learning. Engage and support all students in the learning process. Participate in assessing student learning and IEP. Manage student behavior. Supervise, educate, and mentor the assigned instructional specialists.
