TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS preferred Must-Have: Neurological experience preferred Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty Description: Provide nursing care for patients with neuro surgical procedures and diagnoses. Work ratios are 1:5-6. Contract staff may be required to report to work during catastrophic events or disasters. Expect to work 12-16 weekend shifts during the contract period. Floating to other units may be required. Candidate must be open to working with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and social services. Experience with telemetry and IV management is preferred. Candidates must have skills in isolation precautions, peripheral line care, and non-invasive airway management. Completion of pre-start modules and ongoing education is required. All candidates must be flexible regarding scheduling and blocked requests. References can be provided pending submission.
