As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in our nursing team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to our residents. • Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of nursing assistants (CNAs)

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents according to each resident's plan of care

• Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by the physician

• Explain procedures and treatments ordered to gain patients' cooperation and allay apprehension

• Observe vital signs to detect deviations from normal and gauge progress of the patient

• Maintain patients' medical record on nursing observation and action taken

• Record nursing needs of patient on care plan to assure continuity of care

• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident

• Active unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Highly organized and detail oriented

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
