JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the Foreman, you will lead a crew in the installation of low‐slope commercial roofing systems. You are responsible for jobsite safety, productivity, quality control, and communication with superintendents and customers. You will be responsible for installation of all aspect of low slope (flat) commercial roofing systems, including: TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and liquid applied systems. Read and follow project plans, specifications. Operate hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment safely and effectively. Perform detailed work including flashing, terminations, penetrations, and edge metal. Ensure all work meets company quality standards and complies with safety requirements. Work efficiently as the leader of a crew and help train less experienced team members. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:

3-5+ years of experience installing commercial low‐slope roofing systems.

Proven ability to lead and manage a roofing crew. Proficiency with TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, liquid applied coatings.

Strong understanding of roofing details, safety practices, and installation techniques.

Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work at heights in various weather conditions.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Excellent communication, organization, and problem‐solving skills.

Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Ability to read plans and understand project specifications.

Knowledge of NRCA best practices and manufacturer specifications.

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PUESTO:

Como Capataz, liderarás una cuadrilla en la instalación de sistemas de techado comercial de baja pendiente. Serás responsable de la seguridad en el sitio de trabajo, la productividad, el control de calidad y la comunicación con superintendentes y clientes. Serás responsable de la instalación de todos los aspectos de sistemas de techado comercial de baja pendiente (techo plano), incluyendo: TPO, EPDM, PVC, bitumen modificado y sistemas de aplicación líquida. Leer y seguir planos y especificaciones del proyecto. Operar herramientas manuales, eléctricas y equipos de techado de manera segura y efectiva. Realizar trabajo detallado incluyendo tapajuntas, terminaciones, penetraciones y metal de borde. Asegurar que todo el trabajo cumpla con los estándares de calidad de la empresa y los requisitos de seguridad. Trabajar eficientemente como líder de una cuadrilla y ayudar a capacitar a miembros menos experimentados. Mantener el sitio de trabajo limpio, seguro y profesional en todo momento.

 

REQUISITOS:

3-5+ años de experiencia instalando sistemas de techado comercial de baja pendiente.

Capacidad comprobada para liderar y gestionar una cuadrilla de techado.

Dominio de TPO, EPDM, PVC, bitumen modificado y recubrimientos de aplicación líquida.

Sólido conocimiento de detalles de techado, prácticas de seguridad y técnicas de instalación.

Capacidad para levantar 50-75 lbs y trabajar en alturas en diversas condiciones climáticas.

Transportación confiable y licencia de conducir válida.

Excelentes habilidades de comunicación, organización y resolución de problemas.

Compromiso con la seguridad, la calidad y el trabajo en equipo.

Capacidad para leer planos y comprender las especificaciones del proyecto.

Conocimiento de las mejores prácticas de la NRCA y las especificaciones del fabricante.
