Production Associate – Medical Device Assembly | Details and Compensation:

• Location: Sumter, SC 29153 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $15.50/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Day shift 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
• • Rotating schedule (3 days on/2 off/2 on/3 off) | Weekends included
  • Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours as needed

Production Associate – Medical Device Assembly | Summary and Highlights:

The Production Associate supports the manufacturing and assembly of medical devices by performing production-line assembly, basic equipment operation, and in-process quality checks. This role follows established SOPs and quality guidelines while rotating between tasks to support daily production needs.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Production Associate – Medical Device Assembly | Responsibilities:

• Perform production/assembly tasks involved in the fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices
• Set up, operate, perform basic maintenance on, and troubleshoot equipment as assigned
• Conduct quality inspections in accordance with specifications and documented procedures
• Follow SOPs, safety expectations, and quality guidelines in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Rotate into different tasks/responsibilities and support team production goals

Production Associate – Medical Device Assembly | Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
• Experience: 1+ year of manufacturing/assembly experience
• Ability to read, write, and understand specifications in English; basic math skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Attention to detail; ability to perform quality-focused work
• Ability to use basic measurement/inspection tools (ex: microscopes)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and stand/walk for extended periods
• Steel toe shoes required
