In this role, you will be the producer of new business in your sales territory, targeting, nurturing, and converting leads into new accounts. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success in sales and leverages strong time management, interpersonal, and communication skills to grow a book of business. We offer a competitive base salary and a generous commission plan. Responsibilities Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads. Identifies business opportunities by evaluating prospects\' position in the industry and researching and analyzing sales options. Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs. Sells products or services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects. Negotiates prices and terms and prepares sales agreements in accordance with company policy. Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance, and by researching and recommending new opportunities for profit and service improvement. Remains current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors. Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management, and resolves any issues that may arise post-sale. Maintains detailed reports of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship issues. Assists the finance team in collecting receivables within the contracted time. Achieves or exceeds budgeted revenue goals for new business and renewals in the assigned territory. Regularly travels within an assigned sales territory to meet with prospects and clients, including driving to customer sites and industry events. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Waste industry experience preferred, but not required. Valid driver\'s license and reliable vehicle required. Bachelor\'s degree or high school diploma preferred. Experience using a CRM preferred. 3-5 years of inside or outside sales experience required. Excellent communication, negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills required. Frequent use of a computer, phone, and CRM software for extended periods. Extended periods of sitting and driving, along with periods of standing and walking during in-person meetings and site visits. Pay and Benefits Weekly pay.
