Camp Counselor

Job Overview A Kid’s Camp Counselor will work at Hawk’s Nest Cabin, the Après Ski club for 10–18 year olds, providing fun and adventure. The position runs Monday–Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm during the seasonal summer program. Job Specifications Starting Wage: $20/hr – $22.19/hr Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026 Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available Minimum Age: 18 years or older Housing Availability: None Employee Benefits Free passes for employees, discounted lift tickets for friends and family, and free ski lessons Additional discounts on lodging, food, gear, and mountain shuttles 401(k) Retirement Plan Employee Assistance Program Training and professional development opportunities Referral program Job Responsibilities Assist with teen programming and teach use of the ski simulator Create signature nonalcoholic drinks and games/programs for 10–18 year olds Collect signed waivers, admission fees, and conduct bar and merchandise sales Maintain cleanliness of the facility and support daily operations Assist with other activity programming as needed within the resort Promote a fun, engaging experience for guests Perform additional duties as assigned Job Requirements Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive movements, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Friendly and clear communication with guests of diverse backgrounds and abilities Reliability and punctuality, with ability to work unsupervised occasionally Must have reliable transportation to and from work under varying weather conditions Background check required High School diploma or equivalent Previous guest‑service experience Basic computer skills and strong organizational abilities Vail Resorts is an equal opportunity employer.
