Branch Supervisor

The Branch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operations of a branch in tandem with the Branch Manager. Duties include staff training and safety, building rapport with customers and the community, and creating & implementing strategies to improve productivity and sales performance in efforts to achieve the financial targets.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the physical inventory, perform physical branch inventories as needed
• Maintain a qualified staff within defined headcount parameters
• Manage day to day work, processes, payroll, attendance, time off, evaluations, discipline, and hiring decisions
• Provide training, coaching, development, and motivation to improve branch performance
• Support and enforce a culture of safety that adheres to all safety policies
• Ensure all work required (including discrepancy processing) is completed efficiently, accurately, and timely, including but not limited to receiving, restocking, picking, shipping, returns, inventory management
• Ensure standards of performance as a basis of review
• Foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate conducive to maximizing employee morale and productivity
• Ensure customers receive efficient, expedient service by all personnel and provide support on escalated customer requests as needed
• Ensure all front counter operations are performed per policies and procedures
• Manage retail display area to meet company goals and objectives
• Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulatory and applicable laws
• Must be able to pass certification of training on warehouse equipment where applicable (e.g., fork truck, wave picker, pallet jack, etc.)
• Special projects as assigned by management

Experience Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to perform in stressful and demanding environment
• Ability to motivate, lead, and develop staff
• Minimum of 2 years prior supervisory experience desired
• Minimum 1 year customer service experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook)
