Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring a Press Brake Operator for a manufacturing client in Shelby, NC. This position performs setups and operates CNC press brakes to meet production and quality standards. What You'll Do:
- Perform setups on CNC press brakes and select correct tooling/offsets
- Read and interpret drawings, routers, and use measuring tools (tape measure, protractor, calipers, height stand)
- Maintain daily production to meet customer satisfaction goals
- Ensure products meet print and router requirements
- Accurately record production data in the ERP system (start/stop times, scrap, quantity)
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines as required
- Identify and report defective materials or quality issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Suggest workflow improvements
- 2+ years of CNC press brake experience
- 1+ year of manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of CNC controls
- Ability to read drawings and use basic measuring tools
- Strong attendance record and team player
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Willingness to receive supervision/guidance during setup
- Must pass a satisfactory criminal background check as a condition of employment; candidates are evaluated individually and in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
