Job Title: Press Brake Operator Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Kings Mountain Pay: $20-$26 Schedule: 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday, Saturday as production dictates

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience setting up and operating press brake equipment, reading blueprints, and producing accurately formed metal components to required specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend and form metal components according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, work orders, and production specifications
• Select and install appropriate tooling and dies and adjust machine settings for each job
• Measure and inspect finished parts to verify dimensions, angles, tolerances, and overall quality
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges
• Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and product quality
• Load, position, and safely handle sheet metal and fabricated materials
• Perform basic machine setup, troubleshooting, and routine equipment checks
• Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, or quality concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all required safety and PPE procedures
• Meet established production and quality expectations and complete required production documentation
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a press brake or similar metal fabrication equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructions
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use precision measuring equipment
• Basic understanding of metal fabrication, bend angles, dimensions, and tolerances
• Ability to perform basic math, including fractions and decimals
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Dependable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating CNC press brake equipment
• Experience performing press brake setups and changing tooling/dies
• Previous experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Experience working from detailed blueprints and tight tolerances
