Perform hands-on work applying classroom experience to real-world projects Work for clients on projects with experienced engineers Participate as an active member of the team Learn about Wilson & Company's culture and evaluate the firm as a future career choice Solve complex problems Assist project managers Collaborate with partners to produce clients’ visions for the future built environment Requirements Registered as a Junior or Senior in Engineering or a related field at a local college or university Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to commute from school to the office Ability to work in an office environment; no remote work anticipated Highly responsible and dependable Ability to balance school, internship, and personal demands Ability to work cooperatively with team members and other Wilson & Company divisions Strong written and oral communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Positive attitude Ability to work with a team under a corresponding supervisor MicroStation, InRoads, AutoCAD, and/or Civil3D knowledge is a plus but not necessary Applicants must not require work visa sponsorship Core Competencies Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills while collaborating with team members on engineering projects.
