Location: Greenport, NY
Schedule: Full-Time; Contract 1099
Salary per annum: $150,000 - $200,000

We are seeking warm and razor-smart psychiatric nurse practitioners with entrepreneurial spirits to perform consultations in nursing homes .  As psychiatric nurse practitioners, you will be provided full administrative support and clinical mentorship. If you enjoy working on a team with bright, ambitious, advanced practice nurses and are seeking the flexibility and autonomy of private practice, this is an excellent opportunity for you. • Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
• Proactively follow up with patients and assess the efficacy of recommended interventions.
• Provide education on best practices.
• Round at assigned nursing homes and recommend psychiatric medication and treatment recommendations. 
• Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible. 

• Master of Science in Nursing  (MSN)
• Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License 
• ANNC Board Certification 
• Ability to travel in New York
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Strong patient assessment skills
• Strong, ambitious, patient-centric work ethic
• Prolonged sitting. Computer work including keyboard and mouse use for extended periods. Lifting/moving patients.
