Stationary Engineer

Position Summary Operates, maintains, and repairs equipment in the central plant and all HCA – North Cypress buildings. Responsibilities Apply engineering practices throughout the campus, including repairs and maintenance of all utility systems. Ensure tasks are completed according to policy and procedure, JACHO, NFPA 99, Life Safety Code 101, TDH licensing standards, and all other NFPA codes as required. Participate and respond to all hospital emergencies, including fire, bomb threats, disaster codes, security codes, and other emergencies as directed by the department supervisor and director. Cooperate with other personnel to achieve department objectives and maintain good employee relations and collaborative integration of the health‑care team. Demonstrate accountability for the functionality of all hospital equipment. Assist in enforcing safety policies and protocols under the supervision of the department director. Conduct professional practice at all times. Participate in performance improvement activities, such as data collection and quality control. Show respect for cultural values and differences. Qualifications High school graduate or GED. No travel required. Minimum experience in engineering and HVAC technical training.
