Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists interested in working with elementary-aged students in schools near Flint, MI. These contract positions focus on delivering high-quality speech and language services to caseloads averaging 40-50 students. Most assignments are based in a single school building with limited or no travel between sites. However, flexibility to split time between two locations may be required, depending on program needs and candidate preferences.

Both experienced SLPs (CCC required) and SLP Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply. Candidates seeking CFY placements should ideally have access to a CCC mentor to support their professional development and clinical supervision.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (CFY or CCC)
• School-based SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are welcomed
• Demonstrated ability to work with elementary-aged students, supporting diverse speech and language needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of approximately 40-50 students
• Willingness to adapt and, if needed, provide services in more than one building

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and provide individual or group therapy for students with speech-language impairments
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators and specialists
• Maintain accurate case documentation and progress notes
• Participate in IEP meetings and consult with educational teams as needed
• Foster a supportive, engaging environment conducive to student growth
