Neurodiagnostic Assistant

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, day shift. Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, with rotating holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Neurodiagnostic Assistant to: * Monitor seizure patients in the EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) via remote video system.

• Recognize, classify and document interictal, ictal, and post-ictal activity.
• Place, remove, and maintain electrodes on both video EEC patients and

continuous EEG ICU patients. * Determine when to activate emergency measures to intervene in patient seizure activity and alert appropriate personnel. * Opportunity for growth for those candidates that are interested in becoming neurodiagnostic (EEG) techs.
